The main street that leads to Rome passed trough Castiglion Fiorentino andCortona, and this gave the possibility to have lot of exange with other people. The IV to the II century B.C. is the period of Etruscan domination in all of Tuscany and part of the northern and southern regions.
After this the Roman domination, the Etruscans became part of them until they disappeared as a race, but the Romans learned from them the most important techniques about buildings, arts and agricultural rules.
It is still now possible to very easily find on the ground chips of bricks or vases as a testament of this past age.
The House
The house is a wood building based on the shape of the typical Etruscan temple. In fact, at that age the temples of the Etruscans were built of wood as the main structure because in “Etruria”, Etruscan name of Tuscany, there were lot of beautiful forests that are still possible to see.
A large stairway leads you to a spacious portico containing a stone grill. In the portico you can spend your favourite moments, like a nice dinner or a breakfast with a total immersion in nature listening to the wonderful sounds of the birds that live in garden.

Master Bedroom
Inside the house there is a long living room with a leather sofa that seats seven, a stone fireplace with a hand carved mantel and the kitchen with all the accessories including a microwave oven, freezer, refrigerator and dish washer machine.
There are two bedrooms; one in eighteenth century stile, and the other in modern classical style, so you can choose what you prefer.
On the right side of the house you can find the arboretum with a quantity of aromatic plants that you can use for your cooking, varieties of scented rosemary, large leaf sage, tarragon, basil and more.
