Slow Food - The Italian association was founded in Bra, in the region of Piedmont in July 1986. The definition contained in its Manifesto conveys a very clear message: a movement for the protection of the right to taste. Slow Food has grown into a large-scale international movement, with over 60,000 members in all five continents, of who about half are in Italy.

Wine Spectator - What can I say that hasn't been said about "Wine Spectator Magazine". This link goes to there search engine results for Italian wineries. A great reference, you can click on the winery name to get a description, directions and even a map.

Chianti Classico - This is the official web site for Chianti Classico wines.

The OliveOileSource - As it's name implies, "OliveOileSource.com" is a great source for information on olive oil. There is information on olive oil facts, books, recipes, equipment, industrial resources and even on starting your own olive oil company.

Slow Travelers Italy - This link goes to the Olive Oil page of the "Slow Travelers Italy" web site. Contains some good practical information about olive oil.

Olive Tree World - The "Olive Tree World" site has information on Culture & History, Health, Recipes, Olive Oil Producers, Articles fro Chefs and Stories for Children.
