Location

The historic center of Castiglion Fiorentino has a very long history that dates back to the Etruscan age and has been inhabited since the early IVth Century B.C. There is a very interesting Etruscan museum at the center of the city.

The Medieval age was also a very important period for Castiglion Fiorentino. You can still see the beautiful walls, the central tower and all the buildings of the Comune and the Public library.

In the main square on top of the city there is the beautiful Loggiato Vasariano that is from the XVIth century, a point where you can see beautiful vistas of all the Val di Chio.
